About the Dentistry

European School of Medicine and Dentistry School uses a new approach to learning Dental Science that consists of using modern technologies combined with ancient European studying traditions. The studying process aims to prepare professional dentists with a high level of knowledge and skills to spread fresh ideas and views among the new generation of dentists. Dental School offers all the necessary equipment, such as Dental X-ray machines, Dental Lasers, Surgical magnifiers and microscopes, 3D Monitors, Camera Glasses with a built-in video camera with a lens on the bridge and dual LCDs, Healthcare Digital Assistance, and others to make the educational process more informative and easy to remember.

Duration of studying – 5 years of full-time studying (Bachelor of Dentistry), 2-3 years of full-time studying (Master`s Degree).

After graduating students are able:

  • To determine the leading clinical symptoms and syndromes, using preliminary data of the patient’s anamnesis, data of the patient’s examination, knowledge about the person, his/her organs, and systems, to establish a probable nosological or syndromic preliminary clinical diagnosis of dental disease;
  • To collect information about the general condition of the patient, assess the psychomotor and physical development of the patient, assess the state of the organs of the jaw-facial area, based on the results of laboratory and instrumental studies to assess information regarding the diagnosis;
  • To assign and analyze additional (mandatory and optional) examination methods (laboratory, radiological, functional, and/or instrumental), for patients with diseases of organs and tissues of the oral cavity and the jaw-facial area for differential diagnosis of diseases;
  • To determine the final clinical diagnosis in accordance with the relevant ethical and legal norms, by making an informed decision and logical analysis of the obtained subjective and objective data of the clinical, additional examination, providing differential diagnosis under the supervision of a physician-manager in a medical institution;
  • To diagnose urgent conditions in all circumstances (at home, on the street, in a medical institution), in an emergency, under martial law, with a lack of information, and with limited time;
  • To plan and implement measures to prevent dental diseases among the population and prevent the spread of dental diseases;
  • To analyze the epidemiological situation and carry out mass and individual, general and local, medical and medical-free prevention of dental diseases;
  • To determine the approach, plan, type, and principle of treatment of dental disease by making an informed decision according to existing algorithms and standard schemes;
  • To determine the necessary work, rest schedules, and the necessary diet while treating dental diseases on the basis of a preliminary or final clinical diagnosis by making an informed decision according to existing algorithms and standard schemes;
  • To determine the tactic of managing a dental patient with somatic pathology by making an informed decision according to existing algorithms and standard schemes;
  • To carry out treatment of major dental diseases according to existing algorithms and standard schemes under the supervision of a doctor-manager in a medical institution;
  • To organize holding of medical evacuation among the population and servicemen, taking into account the existing system of medical evacuation;
  • To determine the tactics of emergency medical care, using the recommended algorithms, under any circumstances based on the diagnosis of an emergency condition for a limited time;
  • To analyze and estimate government, social, and medical information using standard approaches and computer information technology;
  • To determine the impact of the environment on the health of the population in the medical institution according to standard methods;
  • To set goals and define the structure of personal activity;
  • To follow a healthy lifestyle, use self-regulation and self-control techniques;
  • To be aware of civil rights, freedoms, and obligations and be guided by them, to increase general educational level;
  • To follow ethics, bioethics, and deontology requirements in the professional activity;
  • To organize the necessary level of individual security (of one’s own and of the people that are being cared after) in case of typical dangerous situations in the individual field of activity;
  • To perform medical manipulations based on preliminary and/or final clinical diagnosis for different segments of the population and in different conditions;
  • To perform medical dental manipulations on the basis of preliminary and/or final clinical diagnosis for different segments of the population and in different conditions;
  • To perform emergency medical care manipulations, using standard schemes, under any circumstances based on the urgent condition diagnosis under conditions of limited time
